Climate change is real, but slogans do not lower a heating bill, strengthen a bridge, protect a farm, or rebuild a town after a flood.

Vermont needs an approach grounded in resilience, affordability, and local control. That means stronger infrastructure, healthier forests and watersheds, reliable energy, serious flood preparation, and federal support that reaches communities without burying them in mandates and administrative costs.

The transition to cleaner energy must improve life in Vermont—not make housing, transportation, construction, and heat unaffordable for the people already struggling to remain here.
